4: Miguel’s Incredible Star Studded Show.
In my opinion, Miguel is one of the most slept on RnB artists in the game. He has been a huge force since the release of his 2012 single ‘Adorn’ and is synonymous with smooth, soulful baby making music, which is right up my alley.
He was added to the Coachella lineup in support of his album War and Leisure. I had this album on repeat for the better part of 2018, so seeing it live amongst his many other hits was incredible.
Playing the second biggest stage at the festival on the Sunday night, Miguel drew a huge crowd, full of not only adoring fans but also some of this biggest names in Hollywood. We had managed to get a spot right near the front of the stage on the barrier which separated the general area from the VIP and special guests area, which is usually where the celebrities and industry people watch shows from.
Stoked with our spot I knew I was going to be in for a good show, so we held our ground and waited for it all to begin. As the crowd was filling in I happened to notice the VIP area also filling up and my fangirl laser vision engaged, I started to scout out any potential celebrities. Low and behold, I see my first celeb DJ A Trak. He waved to a few fans who called out his name but I ignored this and kept scouting. I then saw a large head of pink hair surrounded by four or five large men in black soon after realising it was only Iggy Azalea… Behind her however, was a smaller dude with some noticeable bling, turns out it was Tyga, best known for average rap music and dating Kylie Jenner.
Then just when I think the show is about to start I look beyond them and I get the Coachella celebrity moment I had been dying for. Bella and Gig Hadid. In the flesh. Less that 20m away from me.

Knowing how many celebrities and fellow musicians were in attendance with me during the show gave it a special atmosphere and element of excitement. It was the Coachella experience I had heard about and been dying to experience for myself.
Thank you Miguel for allowing it to happen.
