After my post yesterday, I received a few messages asking why I continue to support Cardi B after her confessions that she used to drug men to rob them. To be honest, I’m not 100% sure where I sit with this issue, I obviously don’t condone her actions but I’m still assessing the facts and trying to see whether “cancelling” her aligns with my own morals. When I decide on an outcome, this place will be the first I will talk about. So stay tuned.

4: Vince Staples Bringing Out Kendrick Lamar For ‘Yeah Right’.
Vince Staples to me is an extremely underrated rapper, musician and artist. He is one of the few artists that are able to freely express themselves with very little regard for mass appeal or opinion. His blending of the rap and electronic genres within his music keeps him unique and interesting and there is no one else out here who sounds like him, especially with his thick Long Beach accent. Staples continues to keep growing with each release with his 2017 release Big Fish Theory easily his best album to date, his live shows also reflect that.
During his performance at Coachella he had one of the most visually stunning stage set ups with the entire screen being completely used and complied of many smaller screens all playing different videos. Its kind of hard to explain so heres a picture.
He played through his new album and hits from the past, even snippets of his features including With You’s ‘Ghost’ and the Gorillaz track ‘Ascension’. Just when we thought the set was coming to a close BOOM.
He brings out the greatest rapper alive, Mr Kendrick Lamar.
I scream my little lungs out (I have video to prove, I honestly sound like a dying bird) and can’t believe my luck that I can get to watch Kendrick AGAIN at Coachella.
It was one of those pinch yourself Coachella moments that make all the travel and preparation for the event totally worth it.

I can’t wait to see what surprises Coachella 2019 has in store but at the same time hope they’re nothing too amazing because I won’t be there to experience it for myself.
