Thank you for following my countdown of my favourite Coachella moments of last year. Being able to relive those amazing experiences was amazing but I am so sad I wont be able to create any new memories at Coachella this year. The most culturally influential festival of the year begins tomorrow and I cant wait to see what it has in store for us!
But before we do here is my FAVE moment from Coachella 2018.
1: Destiny’s Child Reunion
I grew up listening to Destiny’s Child all through my adolescence and my teens. They were my first introduction to feminism and remain to be some of my biggest feminist role models. Seeing them come together to help celebrate Beyonce’s achievements at Beychella was truely special and a moment that I know would not happen very often. The only other time they have reconnected after they finished making music together was for the Super bowl. Only Coachella could have made something this special happen and for that I am truely grateful!! Those ladies have definitely still got it!
This reunion was so special and I know for a fact that it could have only happened at somewhere like Coachella. I am just so happy I was there to see it happen, it is something I will never EVER forget.
